The original Shakers have almost completely faded away into history. Their creations and purity of design, however, endures the test of time. Shaker creativity flowered in all branches of their work.

The Shaker name is synonymous with distinctive furniture styles widely admired for simplicity, innovative joinery, quality and functionality.  Shaker classic pieces are considered as works of art and are preserved in museums and private collections around the world.

In 1982, Crafts Creations Ltd paid tribute to these pioneers of the philosophical “forms follow function” concept in Shaker design by branding its furniture range under the Shaker® name.

Shaker philosophy followed in the Company’s introduction in 1992 of trend-setting solid surfaces. The innovative applications of this material, first launched forty years ago by DuPont™ under the Corian® brand name, are only bound by designers’ imagination and the capabilities of our artisan craftsmen who turn fantasies into realities.

The renowned traditional high-skills of Shaker’s dedicated team of Maltese craftsmen excel in creating outstanding works in wide-ranging applications turning the versatile characteristics of solid surface materials into artistic products enhancing living environments.

Shaker standards in quality and finish have prompted DuPont to commission our company to fabricate exhibits at leading European Fairs in Cologne and Frankfurt, Germany.

Shaker is a permanent certified member of the DuPont™ Corian® ‘Quality Network’ and fully supports the 10-year warranty issued directly by DuPont™.  Additionally, breaking the 15-year fabrication experience threshold in 2007, Shaker now offers clients an extra 5-year warranty against faulty workmanship.
